Today, Pope Leo XIV appointed Bishop Crispin Barrete Varquez, 65, as the new bishop of Tagbilaran in the Philippines. He has been bishop of Borongan since 2007, for nearly two decades. His appointment to Tagbilaran marks a return to his home diocese. He spent much of his priestly ministry there before becoming a bishop. Varquez Replaces a Bishop-Elect Who Withdrew Tagbilaran diocese has been without a bishop since September 2025, when Archbishop Alberto Uy was promoted to Cebu. In March 2026, Leo XIV named Rev. Gerardo Saco as his successor. He withdrew just three weeks before his episcopal consecration in May, citing his “human limitations and inadequacies.” Monsignor Varquez was supposed to be one of Saco's two co-consecrators. “Inclusive Lay Ministries” In October 2025, Bishop Varquez mandated all parishes in his diocese to include persons with disabilities and people of “different sexual orientations” in inclusive lay ministries. Monsignor Varquez said their "gifts" should be “…Көбірек
Msgr. Indunil Kankanamalage, Secretary of the Vatican’s Dicastery for Interreligious Dialogue, attended the Tri Hita Karana Universal Reflection Ceremony in Bali. It was “anchored by an interfaith prayer” and included a Bumi Bajra performance featuring a Barong from Ubud Palace and what they called “sacred rhythms.” Barong is a lion-like ceremonial representation of a supernatural protector in Balinese Hindu tradition, closely associated with Balinese religious and ritual life.
Honoring Idol Barong in Bali: The Dicastery for Interreligious Dialogue participated in a gathering in Indonesia organized by Scholas Occurrentes and United in Diversity.
A Christian of unknown denomination has become the patron of a new Catholic parish in Texas. Bishop Michael Olson of Fort Worth has announced the creation of a parish in Arlington named after Matthew Ayariga, a Ghanaian killed by ISIS in Libya in 2015. Ayariga was abducted alongside 20 Egyptian Coptic Christians. On February 15, 2015, ISIS executed all 21 men on a Libyan beach. According to accounts of the event, when Ayariga was asked about his faith, he replied, “Their God is my God.” The Coptic Orthodox group canonized all 21 victims shortly after their deaths. In 2023, Francis announced that the 21 martyrs would also be added to the Roman Martyrology.
Everyone, except for the FSSPX: In a new video message, Leo XIV says we must “walk together” to ensure that “no one is marginalized, isolated, excluded, or rejected.” He tells the youth they must “Be builders of bridges between peoples, cultures and religions.”
Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 For the promise is for you and for your children and for all who are far off, everyone whom the Lord our God calls to himself.” 40 And with many other words he bore witness and continued to exhort them, saying, “Save yourselves from this crooked generation.” 41 So those who received his word were baptized, and there were added that day about three thousand souls.
Leo XIV-appointed Archbishop Richard Moth of Westminster, England, approaches 'Traditionis Custodes' from what he describes as a pastoral perspective, “Where there is pastoral need, then I would make the argument for it,” he told NcRegister.com on September 10. In his previous Diocese of Arundel and Brighton, he said he “responded to that pastoral need.” Archbishop Moth believes that we need a greater sense of the transcendent in the liturgy, but believes this is “perfectly possible” using the Novus Ordo. Asked about an expected meeting with Catholic Prime Minister Andy Burnham, who is supports abortion and homosexual "marriage", Archbishop Moth replied evasively: “A conversation I would have with somebody about their conscience is between me and that individual,” he said. “If particular issues are raised, I would speak about them and address them, yes.” Moth also calls it “very positive” that Burnham has raised the need to improve palliative care in the context of the assisted-suicide …Көбірек

VATICAN COUNCIL II SAYS OUTSIDE THE CATHOLIC CHURCH THERE IS NO SALVATION 19.09.2026 THE RATIONAL INTERPRETATION OF VATICAN COUNCIL II AD GENTES 7 7. This missionary activity derives its reason from the will of God, "who wishes all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, Himself a man, Jesus Christ, who gave Himself as a ransom for all" (1 Tim. 2:45), "neither is there salvation in any other" (Acts 4:12). Therefore, all must be converted to Him, made known by the Church's preaching, and all must be incorporated into Him by baptism and into the Church which is His body. For Christ Himself "by stressing in express language the necessity of faith and baptism (cf. Mark 16:16; John 3:5), at the same time confirmed the necessity of the Church, into which men enter by baptism, as by a door. Therefore those men cannot be saved, who though aware that God, through Jesus Christ founded the Church as something necessary …Көбірек

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna @RepLuna Newly declassified documents about “Operation Round River” show how FBI Director Wray covered up the Biden family ties to Ukraine and labeled it as “Russian disinformation”. According to the new documents, Wray had multiple confidential sources about the Biden’s, Burisma and Ukraine but instead of investigating them, he ran damage control to neutralize the story and cover it all up during the 2020 election.
Woman Distributes Communion at Leo XIV’s Eucharist — One Communicant Bare-Chested During the Eucharist celebrated by Leo XIV this evening at the Port of Rimini, a woman was spreading Communion in the hand as if it were cookies. One male attendee even received Communion bare-chested, without a shirt.
“Can you tell us Europeans what can we concretely do to help you to kill more Russians?” Martens asked. He hastily added he meant “more Russian soldiers, of course,” before asking whether the two leaders had discussed military cooperation.
On 7 September, Cardinal Gerhard Ludwig Müller addressed the “Tavola di Assisi 2026”: “Islam… is not ashamed of God, it is not ashamed of transcendence, but it proposes an anthropology and a revelation radically different from the Christian ones.” Invoking St Francis of Assisi’s encounter with Sultan al-Malik al-Kamil, Müller rejected the modern portrayal of Francis as a precursor of interreligious dialogue: “Francis did not go to Egypt to open a diplomatic salon and confirm the Sultan in his faith.” Instead, he went convinced that Jesus Christ is the only Savior. For Cardinal Müller, calling Muslims to conversion is “not an act of hostility… on the contrary, it is the highest act of charity.” He also warned that the Christian West is not “simply threatened by external forces, but is being worn down by an internal apostasy.”

Gunther Eagleman™ @GuntherEagleman D.C. spends $32,000 a year on each kid. One high school: 84% chronically absent. Others at 79 and 78. Graduation rates still climb. Reading and math do not. That’s not underfunding. That’s a racket with a diploma printer. Bowser sent parents a 180-day reminder to show up. Jeanine Pirro is talking fines and jail. One of those is a newsletter. The other is a standard. Unions protect the adults. The children get the empty desk and a fake transcript. School choice isn’t a slogan. It’s the exit from a system that already quit. If the building can’t get them in the chair, let the parent pick a school that will.
At my Catholic grade school, the sisters charged my parents $15.00 a month. My high school was $250.00 a year. I Learned a great deal then and would probably have to pay several thousand a year to get the same education.
The man lives in the make believe world of Humpty Dumpty where words mean whatever you want them to mean. We wonder if he would accept a large pay decrease because money too isn’t real.
Monsignor Stephen Rossetti, removed in June as an exorcist by Washington Cardinal Robert McElroy, is continuing his deliverance ministry. In an August 3 email to subscribers, Monsignor Rossetti said he remains a priest in good standing in his home Diocese of Syracuse, New York, and will continue his work through the St. Michael Center, which operates within the territory of the Washington archdiocese. On June 3, Cardinal McElroy removed Rossetti as an archdiocesan exorcist and ended all affiliation between the Archdiocese of Washington and Rossetti's St. Michael Center. Monsignor Rossetti argues that he retains priestly faculties in several dioceses and exorcist faculties in two others. He also says his own bishop has encouraged him to continue the ministry. The June controversy followed Rossetti's eccentric claim that UFOs "are, in fact, demons." Cardinal McElroy - who had removed him for this claim - later said the decision was not about UFOs but reflected his view that the role of an …Көбірек
Read this garbage: Msgr Rossetti says " sexual abuse of minors by mothers could more easily be disguised as ordinary acts of cleaning, grooming or dressing children." If it is true that he said this, such a thought could only come from a rotten, corrupt mind. Our mothers -our blessed, beloved mothers- could never do such a thing! Thank you, Mom, for taking care of me since I was a baby!
