“My years in Chiclayo were like ‘I’m going to stay here for the rest of my life.’ I was very happy there, to the point that on the very first day I arrived in Chiclayo, the emeritus bishop took me to this sanctuary, Nuestra Señora de la Paz, in the diocese, which is located just outside the city. There is a crypt under the church where the second bishop of the diocese is buried; so the outgoing bishop takes me there and says to me: ‘There is room here for you and for me when we are buried,’ and I thought: ‘Well, whoever arrives first will make room for the other!’” Pope Leo XIV Bishop Robert Prevost at the Sanctuary of Nuestra Señora de la Paz, where he signed the book of honor on the first day of his ministry in Chiclayo. 👇

Mind the cross

That demonic looking thing makes me shiver. The great monster Bernadin was the first to wear it. I wonder if those who wear it now are signifying their solidarity.

Ivan Tomas

I think, otherwise is almost not possible to be. Unless anyone who is wearing it aware about that thing.
Still, even then, men should always be careful with ugly things!
Especially when it's concerning the crucifix.
