Bishop Marian Eleganti wrote to Pope Leo XIV about widespread homosexuality among priests and its significance in the abuse crisis in the Church. He mentioned this on Marian-Eleganti.ch on April 24: "All church studies on abuse show a disproportionately high number of male victims. It does little good to turn a blind eye to this." He also drew attention to the numerous cases of sexual abuse occurring outside the Church, emphasising that society is primarily focused on and scandalised by those within the clergy. #newsZltfzndgfn
At least somebody is saying something about it to Leo. He'll ignore it, of course, and that's even if he actually gets the letter and deigns to read it. But at least one of his brother Bishops has made the effort to warn him directly and explicitly. He cannot claim ignorance.
29 April 2026 — Cardinal Victor Manuel Fernández has prepared a declaration of schism should the Society of St. Pius X proceed with episcopal consecrations in Écône on July 1.
I'm so glad Cardinal Porn is going to declare the Vatican in schism with the Catholic Faith. Jonah began his journey into the city, walking for an entire day. Then he proclaimed, “After forty days, Nineveh will be overthrown.” The people of Nineveh believed this message from God. They proclaimed a fast, and everyone, from the greatest to the least, put on sackcloth. -- Jonah 3:4-5
On April 28, the German bishops published a new ‘Ratio Nationalis Institutionis Sacerdotalis’, a 203-page document reforming priestly formation in Germany. It replaces the previous 111-page guidelines from 2003. Approved by the Vatican’s Dicastery for the Clergy on March 11, the new norms are binding for Germany’s 27 dioceses. Long-Term Decline The reform comes amid a long-term collapse in priestly vocations. Germany ordained 557 priests in 1962 and 303 in 1970. By 2015, that number had fallen to 58, and by 2025 to just 25, the lowest figure on record. At the same time, the number of lay pastoral workers increased from roughly 5,200 in 1990 to 7,516 in 2021, and include today transvestites. Psychological Screening The new Ratio includes expanded sections on psychology, abuse prevention, sexuality, synodality, and pastoral practice. It mandates psychological screening for candidates and places new emphasis on emotional maturity, boundaries, and abuse prevention. The document explicitly …Engeta
The German bishops are terrified that seminarians will actually be Catholic and teach the faith in all it's beauty. That means all out war to the bishops. May they be crushed.
The Germans haven't known the fundamentals of the Apostolic Faith for over a century, so their priests couldn't become fundamentalist in German seminaries already.
A man passed away. As he crossed the threshold into eternity, he saw God walking toward him, carrying a single suitcase. God spoke softly: "Son, it is time to go." Stunned, the man asked, "Already? So soon? I had so many plans... so much left to do." "I am sorry," God replied, "but it is time for your departure." And so, they began to walk together. Curiosity eventually got the best of the man, and he asked, "What are You carrying in that suitcase?" God answered, "Everything that belongs to you." "Everything that belongs to me?" the man repeated. "So... my clothes, my money, my possessions are in there?" God shook His head. "Those things never belonged to you. They belonged to the world." "Then... my memories?" the man asked. "No. They belonged to time." "My talents, then?" "They were never yours. They belonged to the circumstances of your life." "What about my friends? My family?" "I am sorry," God said, "but they were never yours to keep. They were your companions on the journey." "…Engeta
Carmelite community of Campiégne martyrs to close: The historic Carmelite community of Compiègne, which is now based in Jonquières, France, is closing. The six remaining nuns have announced that they will be leaving due to the ageing nature of the community and a lack of new vocations. Founded in 1641, the community is best known for the sixteen Carmelite martyrs of Compiègne who were executed during the French Revolution in 1794 and canonised by Pope Francis in 2024. The monastery in Jonquières has been home to the community since 1992. The nuns are leaving over the coming months, not all at once.
The six remaining cloistered Carmelite nuns in Jonquières, France, are closing their historic community, ending a 400-year legacy of prayer ... and martyrdom.
Prayer To St Peregrine We honor you, St. Peregrine, as a mighty wonder worker, because of the miracles obtained through your intercession for those who have had recourse to your kind and powerful prayers. For many years, you were afflicted with the same cancerous disease from which thousands now suffer. When the power of man could do no more, you were favored with a vision of Jesus leaning down from His cross, touching and healing you. Trusting in your compassion and readiness to help, we request your prayerful support for ourselves, and for our sick relatives and friends... [Mention the names of those you are praying for now] May the gracious blessing of Almighty God, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, descend upon all the sick. May it be accomplished by the complete cure for which we desire and pray. Intercede for us all, St. Peregrine, that we may be sincerely grateful for every healing, every favor, and every grace from our Lord, Who is ever glorified in His saints. Amen. …Engeta
Bishop Michael Martin of Charlotte, North Carolina, reportedly refused Holy Communion to a Catholic family who knelt at the Communion rail during a Eucharist on April 29 in Greensboro.
Bishop Martin the Diocese of Charlotte refuses communion to families at altar rail
Bishop Michael Martin of Charlotte has refused Holy Communion to a Catholic family who approached the altar rail during a Confirmation Mass, in an AdVaticanum exclusive report. The incident took place on April 29 at Our Lady of Grace parish in Greensboro, North Carolina. While the Confirmation ceremony took place as usual, during Communion only two or three families approached the altar rail to receive the Eucharist. One father who brought his family said to AdVaticanum: “He was sitting in front of us when we went to the rail and he simply ignored us. All the priests turned their backs on us,” he said. “Everyone else communicated and we were denied. To be frank, it was very humiliating.” The same witness said that while the wider congregation received Communion, those kneeling at the rail were passed over. Attempts were made to speak to Bishop Martin about incident after the Confirmation Mass, but he did not respond in detail. Photo taken from the confirmation Mass. Submitted anonymously. …
Among Benedictines, the Roman Rite and the Novus Ordo coexist very peacefully side by side, said Abbot Primate Jeremias Schröder, a German Benedictine, in an interview with KNA on 30 April. Throughout the order, there are around ten abbeys that celebrate the old rite, mostly in France. The majority belong to the Congregation of Solesmes. Fontgombault Abbey was the first of a group of monasteries that celebrate according to the old rite and they are fully integrated into the Solesmes congregation. Most monasteries in that congregation use the Novus Ordo. In addition, there is Le Barroux Abbey and its daughter foundations, which were initially oriented towards the Lefebvrist movement. Following the episcopal consecrations in 1988, the monastery returned to full communion with Rome is now under the authority of Abbot Schröder. He also mentioned the community in Norcia, Italy (pictured). Novus Ordo in Fontgombault Abbot Schröder summarised: "We all treat one another with respect. As Abbot …Engeta

Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint John 14,1-6. Jesus said to his disciples: "Do not let your hearts be troubled. You have faith in God; have faith also in me. In my Father's house there are many dwelling places. If there were not, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back again and take you to myself, so that where I am you also may be. Where (I) am going you know the way." Thomas said to him, "Master, we do not know where you are going; how can we know the way?" Jesus said to him, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." Anglican 'Archbishopessa' Hints at Male-Only Priesthood as Injustice: After her audience with Leo XIV on Monday, Mrs Sarah Mullally, who holds the title and costume of Anglican Archbishop of Canterbury, was asked whether she had spoken with the Pope about the impossibility of female ordination. She replied evasively, stating that although she is not a politician, one of her roles is to "speak out where there is injustice". The interview took place at the Venerable English College, a Catholic seminary in Rome.
In an interview at the Venerable English College in Rome following her private audience with Pope Leo XIV, Sarah Mullally was asked whether she discussed the ministry of women with the Pope. “First and foremost, I am a pastor and a spiritual leader. But of course, in sometimes speaking as a spiritual leader and a pastor and a Christian, there are things that we will say that may be perceived as political – but I am not a politician.” “In a sense, what I’m hoping to do is to provide people with hope, praying for those who are in difficulty,” she continued. Mullally then hinted that she sees the ban on female ordinations as an “injustice,” stating that one of her tasks is “at times speaking out where there is injustice, but doing it in a way that is certainly pastoral and spiritually founded.”
Brothers—in case you have not yet grasped it—allow me to translate this for you into the very language of Marxist liberation pseudo-theology. Do you not realize that the war Prevost is waging is against Christ and His Church? This ideology teaches that the Catholic Church—Christ, His Church, and His male priesthood—are precisely the oppressors against whom they fight to defend the rendering of "justice" to (heretical) Protestants, to Jews who reject Christ, to pagans (Pachamamists), to idolatrous Muslims and all other false religions, to blasphemous atheists, and to all the unrepentant—such as sodomites, adulterers, and the like.
Tuesday 29th April 1913 Factory Employee May Be Taken Any Moment Atlanta Georgian Tuesday April 29th 1913 Factory Employee May Be Taken Any Moment Atlanta Georgian A sensational arrest will be made in the Mary Phagan murder mystery within a few hours. It will be based on the firm theory of the police and detectives that the strangled girl was never outside the factory of the National Pencil Company from the time she went in there for her pay Saturday noon until her dead and mutilated body was taken to the morgue early Sunday morning. The detectives do not believe that Arthur Mullinax is guilty of the murder. They do not believe that J. M. Gantt is guilty of the murder. They do not place any dependence on the identifications of Gantt and Mullinax made by various persons before Chief of Detectives Lanford. They are confident that the author of the terrible deed was a person who is not under arrest at the present time. They know his name. They have talked with him. They have his story of …Engeta
Leo XIV Considers Francis a "Great Gift": While flying from Angola to Equatorial Guinea today, Pope Leo XIV commemorated his predecessor, Francis, who died on April 21 last year. Leo XIV alleged that Francis had given "so much" through his words and actions. "He promoted an authentic respect for all men and women, and taught us that we are all brothers and sisters," claimed Leo XIV, adding: "We thank the Lord for the great gift of Francis's life to the Church and the whole world."
On the first anniversary of Pope Francis’ death, Pope Leo XIV remembered him as a leader who gave greatly to the Church through his life, words, and actions.“I would like to remember, on this first anniversary of his death, Pope Francis, who gave so much to the church with his life, his testimony, his words, and his gestures,” Pope Leo said. He recalled how Pope Francis truly lived with “closeness to the poorest, the little ones, the sick, the children, the elderly.”
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU MISS MASS DELIBERATELY? Sunday morning arrives. The Church bells ring. The altar is prepared. Heaven opens. And Christ invites you to His banquet. Yet many say: "I'll go next week." Or worse: "I don't feel like going today." That choice is far more serious than many realize. THE THIRD COMMANDMENT STILL MATTERS God commanded: "Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy." For Christians, this obligation is fulfilled on Sunday, the Day of the Lord. The Church does not invent this command. She safeguards it. Attending Mass on Sundays and holy days is one of the fundamental obligations of Catholic life. It is not merely a recommendation. It is a command rooted in divine law. DELIBERATE ABSENCE IS GRAVE MATTER To knowingly and freely miss Sunday Mass without a serious reason—such as illness, caring for an infant, or unavoidable circumstances—is a mortal sin. That is the clear teaching of the Catholic Church. Why so serious? Because the Eucharist is the source and summit …Engeta
