Italian Archbishops Clash Over Israel: "Antisemit"

Archbishop Franco Moscone of Manfredonia-Vieste-San Giovanni Rotondo has come under criticism after signing a petition calling on the Il Libro Possibile festival to reconsider hosting Israeli novelist Eshkol Nevo.
According to AgenSir on June 15, Monsignor Moscone argued that intellectuals have a duty to speak clearly in the face of injustice. He added that Nevo had failed to provide sufficient "criticism and clarity" regarding the actions of the Israeli government.
He insisted that "the issue is not that Nevo is Israeli."
Festival organizers rejected the petition and confirmed that Nevo will participate as scheduled, noting that the writer has repeatedly spoken in favor of peace.
The initiative triggered sharp reactions within the Italian Church.
Archbishop Giuseppe Baturi, secretary-general of the Italian Bishops' Conference (CEI), said that "peace is not built by preventing those who think differently from speaking."
Archbishop Carmelo Pennisi of Monreale described the campaign as …Máis

🙏June 15th - Saint of the Day: Saint Amos, Prophet🙏
Faith without justice is just noise. Saint Amos was not a priest, a scholar, or a polished religious influencer. He was a shepherd from Tekoa, tending flocks and sycamore trees, until God called him to walk into a wealthy, comfortable kingdom and tell the truth nobody wanted to hear. 🐑📜 Israel looked blessed from the outside. Money was flowing. Worship was happening. People were showing up for the religious festivals. But behind the scenes, the poor were being crushed, the courts were corrupt, and the powerful were using religion as a cover for injustice. Then Amos spoke the line that still shakes the soul: “Let justice surge like waters, and righteousness like an unfailing stream.” 🌊 That is not a slogan. It is a warning. Saint Amos reminds us that God is not impressed by public faith that does not become private conversion. Mass should change how we treat people. Prayer should make us more honest. Worship should make us …Máis

Leo XIV Praises "Global Jewish Philanthropy"

Today, Pope Leo XIV received a delegation from the United Jewish Appeal-Federation of New York (UJA-Federation) in the Apostolic Palace.
Founded in 1917, the UJA-Federation is among the world's largest Jewish philanthropic organizations, supporting “the poor”, refugees, and other vulnerable populations in New York, Israel, and more than seventy countries worldwide.
Welcoming the delegation, Leo XIV praised the organization as an instrument of global Jewish philanthropy. It demonstrates a profound commitment to human fraternity that resonates with the Church's own vision of integral human development.
Leo XIV Rejects Discrimination Based on Religion
Leo XIV recalled that sixty-six years ago, in 1960, Pope John XXIII welcomed a delegation from the same organization with the memorable words, "I am Joseph, your brother" (Genesis 45:4).
Then, Leo XIV observed that this encounter helped inspire a new era in Catholic-Jewish relations and contributed to the development of the Second Vatican …Máis

Dr. Jordan Peterson on science and God...

"When God dies, a lot of unexpected things die with Him, including science.
Science isn’t some purely neutral, secular tool. It rests on deeply religious assumptions: that truth exists, that it’s knowable, that pursuing it is good, and that the universe makes sense.
These aren’t scientific claims, they’re metaphysical, rooted in a religious worldview. The universities themselves grew out of monasteries.
Without that deeper foundation, science eventually stops being about truth and becomes just another tool for power, ideology, or convenience. You lose the reason to be honest when the data gets inconvenient."

Gene Edited Crops: The WEF’s Back Door Agenda
There is a coordinated push happening right now to replace traditional food with gene-edited, synthetic crops. At first it looks like normal business and innovation, but when you look closer you see something very different.
In this video Christian breaks down an admission from Corteva Catalyst’s Senior Director Mathias Müller. He openly explained how Big Ag plans to let small startups do the risky legwork on gene-edited crops so the big companies don’t have to take the heat, the liability, or the bad press if (when) things go wrong.
I also look at the real-world example he gave -- Pairwise -- and show how this pattern is repeating across multiple Corteva-backed companies. Former Monsanto and Syngenta executives are leading many of these “startups.”
This isn’t organic market progress, but rather a deliberate strategy to centralize control over our food supply while pushing the risks onto others.

Report: Washington Cardinal Discourages Kneelers for Communion

🌈 Cardinal Robert McElroy of Washington D.C. is reportedly banning Communion kneelers and altar rails.
According to Christine Niles (June 14), Cardinal McElroy gave a directive during a recent meeting with priests: “no installation or reinstallation of altar rails”.
The directive also stated that the use of temporary kneelers is discouraged.
The excuse given was an alleged “disruption of the flow of the communion line". Furthermore, Cardinal McElroy believes that kneelers would turn the exception of kneeling into the norm, which in the U.S. is standing.

Blackmail? Milan Archbishop Celebrates Homosex Eucharist: "Ah, Men!"

Worse than Germany: On Friday, Archbishop Mario Delpini of Milan, Italy, presided over a homosexual Eucharist at the Church of San Carlo al Lazzaretto. The church is located in Milan's homosexual district.
The Eucharist was organised by the homosexual propaganda association ‘Gruppo del Guado’.
The poster advertising the event depicted a rainbow-coloured church and noted that the celebration would take place on the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
According to LaNuovaBq.it, during his homily, Monsignor Delpini said: 'The Lord has bound himself to you and chosen you not because you are the largest group, in fact you are the smallest, but because he loves you.'
A participant posted a photo on Instagram of the T-shirt he was wearing when approaching to receive Communion. The T-shirt showed Jesus dressed in rainbow colours with the words 'Ah Men' above his head. This plays on the similarity between the term 'Amen' and the English expression 'Ah, men!' ("Ah, men.") - an explicit reference …Máis

Saint Vitus - June 15
St. Vitus became famous throughout Europe as a healing saint. People suffering from these strange movement disorders would pray at his shrines and ask for his intercession.
Dancing mania (also known as dancing plague, choreomania, St. John's Dance, tarantism and St. Vitus' Dance) was a phenomenon which occurred primarily in mainland Europe between the 14th and 17th centuries. It involved groups of people dancing erratically, sometimes thousands at a time. The mania affected adults and children who danced until, allegedly, they collapsed from exhaustion and injuries, and sometimes died. One of the first major outbreaks was in Aachen, in the Holy Roman Empire (within modern-day Germany), in 1374, and it quickly spread throughout Europe; one particularly notable outbreak occurred in Strasbourg in 1518 in Alsace, also in the Holy Roman Empire (within modern-day France).

Legend says that Vitus was the son of a pagan Sicilian senator named Hylas. The boy was converted to Christianity at age twelve by his tutor, Saint Modestus, and his nurse Saint Crescentia. His father showed his objection to the conversion by having all three arrested and scourged.
Freed from prison by angels, they fled to Lucania, then Rome. There Vitus freed the son of Emperor Diocletian from an evil spirit. When Vitus would not sacrifice to the pagan gods in celebration, his cure was attributed to sorcery, and he and his household were arrested again. Tortured, and condemned to death, they were thrown to the lions; the lions would not touch them, so they were thrown into boiling oil. At the moment of their deaths, a immense storm destroyed several pagan temples in the region, which led to the tradition of protection against stormy weather. One of the Fourteen Holy Helpers.

Inconsistency Is Program: Leo XIV's Mixed Signals on Migration

On June 12, Raymond Arroyo spoke with New York diocesan priest Gerald Murray and journalist Robert Royal about Leo XIV’s trip to Spain. Main quotes.
Raymond Arroyo: “Pope Leo XIV's call for reviving the Christian identity in Europe seems to be in direct conflict with the reality of an unchecked and open immigration policy. Aren't those mixed signals?"
Gerald Murray: "Yes, it is discounting the fact that part of the reason why Christian identity is eroded is that governments which don't favor Christianity want to make peace with Islamic people coming into the country.”
Robert Royal: "I don't think that the Church has really taken the proper measure of the difficulty of absorbing Islam into Western Europe.”
The pope “is trying to paper over the conflict, you know, the way that the Christians had to reconquer Spain."
Gerald Murray: "You have basically Catholics in Europe and serious Protestants. They face a double-edged sword. On the one hand, secular leftist governments who don't want …Máis
