The church Saint-Nicaise de Rouen in Rouen, France, will become a brasserie-restaurant with an additional museum space. The site dates back to the 7th century, when a chapel was built for the relics of Saint Nicaise. The current building was reconstructed in reinforced concrete after a fire in 1934 and reopened for worship in 1940. Due to structural deterioration, water infiltration, and lack of maintenance, the church was closed in 2006 and officially deconsecrated in 2017.
